SCEFL Preview ...

Every week seems to throw up some key action in the First Division and Saturday is no different as the six games taking place include matches that will have a huge affect on both ends of the table.
Bayliss Avenue hosts a huge one as leaders Welling Town entertain title rivals Erith & Belvedere in a game that could could give us a big pointer on where the the title could be heading at the end of April. The 'Boots' go into it on the back of a 5-game unbeaten run but with the last two being draws they now find themselves with just a 5 point lead at the top of what is a very interesting Division. The 'Deres' are 10 points off the pace but with 5 games in hand on Welling they are firmly in this race and should they win this they could even find themselves as favourites for the main honours. They make the short journey over to Thamesmead in superb form where they have won the last 5 games and remain unbeaten in 11. A big part of their rise towards the top has been Harry Harding who has scored in all of their last 6 matches while hitting 4 hat-tricks during their current unbeaten run. With Ryan Golding upfront for the hosts this is not just a battle between two of the main title contenders but also a clash of the two top scorers in this league so surely we are guaranteed goals in what should be a classic game. Back in October Welling Town won the reverse fixture 5-1 but this will definitely be a tighter affair now with both sides in great form and looking evenly matched. Anyone looking for a game to go to in the South East on Saturday would be well advised to head to this one as for goals and drama this is sure to have it all.

We hope to see you there.
